I have 2 questions...

1. I know I read somewhere that there is supposed to be a "general theme" for the game - is that for the WHOLE game or for each separate clue? And where can I find it (I can't find the page I originally read that said there WOULD be a theme.)

2. Are ALL the winning listings "Buy It Now" listings? (In other words, can we eliminate any listings that don't say "Buy It Now" without looking at them?

I just want to get up to speed with everyone else!

Ok - and a follow-up question - they will be "Buy it Now" - and can be located on ebay.com OR ebaymotors.com?? or are there separate games for each site?

One game covers both sites. What they are saying is there may be a few clues which end up leading to listings on ebaymotors.com .

In answer to your first question, yes, there is a general theme. I found it in community under general announcements. It says the clues relate to Presidents, Americana stuff in celebration of President's Day.
