I played this treasure hunt dilligently the entire time and tried everything in my plower to win a $1000. I tried so hard because I am engaged to be married this year and so far I have no money for the wedding. Well e-bay now all I can say is please give me a $1000 out of the kindness of your hearts so I can have a semi-decent wedding for me and my fiance. Thank you.

We don't feel that we are rushing the marriage. We set the date for a marraige over a year ago and want to stick with what we told the family. I don't want a nice wedding. I just want a wedding where all of our family can be present. Oh yeah and she has a lot of family that wants to come. I plan on renewing our vows once I have a better job. I am hoping to go back to College and by June of 2006 I will have my degree. Maybe then we will be able to renew our vows properly.

They don't truly understand the situation I am in. To be honest I don't want to admit to them that I am a 23 year old male with a job who can't afford to pay for the things he needs in life. Let alone wants. They just want to be at the wedding. I don't want a fancy wedding. Our courthouse is so small that only 2 people are allowed in as witnesses. That means that only her parents are going to get to attend the acutal wedding. Why my parents are crushed about.

I've got to get to bed, I leave you with again the only advice I have... either hold off on the wedding, or re-evaluate what is truly "important" to you... by the way you talk, if you dropped out of college, you can't be honest with your parents, and you want someone to just throw $1000 at you, then you need to not only re-evaluate what's important, but also re-evaluate yourself. My parents know that I dropped out of college, they know why, and they fully support all of my decisions and they know that I want to go back. If we can't raise the money for our wedding then we will postpone it. We just don't want to. Yes you are right it is time for bed. Goodnight to you and you will be in my prayers tonight.

I am blown away....... I dated my now hubby for 3 years, we were engaged and lived together for 3 1/2 years, and THEN one day I was suprised with a wedding down at the courthouse with my Brother and future X sister in law. My parents couldn't afford a real ceremony, his parents couldn't either. Neither of us made enough to do it ourselves............. We have been together 20 years, married 14. We are still struggling but we are doing it together. No handouts, no begging. I can say that what we have is OURS. Will you be able to say the same in 20 years? A wedding is not something you beg for. Food to feed your family, medicine for a sick child, that sorta thing is. Get your young arse together son. Wait till you're ready. Devilpit82, you sound like a caring, generous person. Nice to know there are still some of you out there. Should your company have excess money in it's charatible donations account, I have a request also. I am 40 yrs old, divorced with three children. Five years ago I was diagnosed with a heart disease and am on a transplant list. My children and I receive $588.00 per month through my Soc Security Disability. I am presently going through the courts trying to collect child support from their father. I do not need money for a wedding or anything materialistic. My children and I need food, electricity, water-the necessities. I know it is humanly impossible to raise 3 children on $588.00 but it is not Godly impossible. I pray that I saw your posting as a blessing.
