BLACK LABEL WHISKEY; who else was way out in left field?

Thought I had the right chain of thought for a change! Thought of Jim Beam, then gym beam because other answers lately were sports and olympic related...so I was sure it was Nadia...no...she's not American...so it had to be Mary Lou Retton!!! SO POSITIVE this time! Dang!:_|

ive found it helps me to type the clue into google and get some ideas. it has helped. even though i have won yet, i have been searching for the correct keyword in about 30 or 40 of the clues when it was won

I drink and know a lot about whiskey, bourbon, scotch, etc and it didn't help me much.

I was thinking Jack Daniel's since it is a popular whiskey with the more popular one having the black label on it versus the green label.

So I was thinking Jack Daniel's, Lynchburg, Tennessee, Sour Mash, Old No. 7.....

Ohh well it's just a game.

I also started using Google to search, and to tell the truth, that's where I found Jim Beam, because I know nothing about whiskey. :-x

Yeah Jim Beam has a Black Label too. Jim Beam Black. It's pretty good. It's pretty inexpensive and it's decent and tastes pretty good. It won a medal in some tasting contest too. But it's okay.

But I like scotch too. Macallan 18 is delicious. Incredibly smooth and tasty.
