you will know if you find the winning auction as there will be a big ol sign that says congratulations you have foudn the winning auction yadda yadda yadda
this is true... how do you buy things that dont say "congrats you won a grand"? it's not ebays fault you didn't understand the rules... there are hundreds of threads on this discussion here that tell you exactly what you are looking for...
Sorry, but ebay should have known that some people would not read all the directions and end up doing this. I'm sure they will be flooded with nonpaying complains and buyers alike..
The more I do this the more I am convinced this is a scam of some sort. The vagueness of the clues, the sheer volume of auctions I have gone though leads me to believe its more then just a contest.
Thought provoking yes.. Thinking how can I create a contest that generates this much web traffic.
I'm thinking of a contest. Heres a million pages with banner ads on them. One of the banner ads leads to page where you can win something. I'm gonna give you clues as to which banner ad it is. However the clues are going to be very vague. You may have to click 1000s of ads to find the one that wins.
I get 5 cents for every banner thats clicked. Hows this sound to everyone. Something you would want to do?
Seriously thinking of doing something like this. if so many people are willing to click 1000s of auction listings to win 1000 dollars then I'm sure I could find some sponsers for a contest of this sort.
