Our charity received this donation to sell. It is metal...seems very old. About 6 inches long. Would it be some kind of stencil? Any help on ID and/or age much appreciated!
No, it's not a stencil. It's a block for fabric printing. Maybe old, maybe not. It appears to be made of metal, so I did this search (if not metal, you can change the search terms) to show you how it's used
