This may not be an antique, but I figured this was the best spot for it. Does anyone recognize this decoy or who may have made it? I can’t find any markings on it. Thanks for the help –

It's almost impossible to tell anything from the picture you posted. Without being able to see any detail, this looks like a resin reproduction.

What kind of picture would you like to see? This is definitely not resin. It is wood.

dont know what kind of duck: No way to say who carved it unless they sign it or mark it in some way.

Thank you for pictures that actually show some detail. While it may be wood, I still think it's fairly modern and intended as a decorative piece.

It IS wood. (You said “may be wood”)
What are you basing your opinion on?

I'm basing my opinion on 50+ years of collecting antiques. There is no sign of use and, more importantly, no sign of the patina you would find on an older piece. The carving lacks refinement, and there is no wear pattern to the paint. Google some pictures of actual antique decoys and the differences are glaring.
They're cranking these decoys out by the millions in China. They're intended for decorative purposes. They have moderate value as a decorative piece.
