Who is this artist and is this painting worth restoring?

I have googled this artist name and have not come up with the initials that look like G A. The last name Stanhope is a family name of artists found in Georgia. This painting was found near Atlanta. There is also an English artist with this last name but not these initials.
Is this oil painting worth restoring? Any idea of the age?

It is a pleasant scene..but not the work of a talented artist, and definitely not worth professional restoration.
