How to estimate this rug?

I have this antique uzbek rug in my parents home. Its age is about 50 years old. its hand made rug from Bukara - Uzbekistan, 100% wool. somone told me that it more than 1000$ its size 11feetx6.5feet.

Unfortunately, any collectible is worth what the market will pay for it. Book values are often misleading. You'd have to tell him that it's not for sale & offer to pay him something for estimating it's worth.

There would be several factors to determine it's worth such as, is it hand knotted, or warp and weft cut? The density (such as) 350-375 knots per square inch. Insurance appraised? Dealer replacemnet value? If none of these factors are known I am afraid you are dealing with a buy it cold depressed market. Barry
