Vintage Gold Over Sterling Hoops

Was hoping to get some insite from y’alls knowledge base. Does this look like amber or Bakelite? Marked SS and shined up beautifully when dipped in silver cleaner. But I’m having a little trouble on the other! Thanks in advance!

Whodunnit - fairly new silver earrings
