I've come across this on a piece or two and what makes it a bear to research is that nwt is used for new with tags, making a search for it darn near impossible. I think I gave up. I'd do a search for NWT jewelry company and see if that brings anything back, such as company info, but I feel like I tried that and it came back as an import company in New York, with no further info.

Also, just looking at the necklace you've shown, that bib style necklace is more recent, statement jewelry within the last ten to 15 years. I promise.

DID YOU EVER FIGURE ANYTHING OUT ABOUT THIS? FOUR YEARS LATER AND I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. WOULD LOVE TO KNOW WHAT YOU FOUND OUT IF ANYTHING.

I have been trying to find this same information. Has anyone ever found out? I've searched and searched.

Holy zombies, Batman. The image is gone this is so old. If it's something made after 1980, most regular "boardies" won't know anything about it. Me included.

Definitely an Avon "statement necklace". Probably from the late 90s or early 2000s. The hang tag with the NWT is one that appeared often on Avon jewelry. It is simply an internal code for Avon that indicates the manufacturer. The only significance to the consumer is verifying that it is indeed an Avon piece.
