Can't review original listing after purchase

There is an issue with the app that just started today. Oct 26th 2022

Before today if I purchased something and needed to review the listing. I could select "item info" and see the complete original listing. As of now that no longer works.

(I'm able to access the original listing with a browser on the website, but not in the mobile app.)

For app issues, it is worth checking to make sure you have the latest version -- for Android version six or higher the latest version is 6.82.0.1. If you have an older version, try updating.

You might try clearing your eBay app's cache and data, then signing in again. That might possibly help if the problem was related to changes in the app conflicting with old data you have stored.

Otherwise you might want to try uninstalling the eBay app, restarting your device, then installing the latest version from the Google Play Store. The restart should ensure a clean install if the problem was a previous installation.

This is sadly a terrible issue with the new eBay update, but ive found a semi fix.

For all future purchases to avoid it you can add them to your watch list before purchasing. 

Even after a purchase you can go to your watch list and click the item even though the listing sold/inactive itll show. itll say sorry the items not available, but display the full add for you to see!

I hate this update so bad keeps buyers from checking back on the description to make sure the listing and item match, but with this watch history hack you can go back to buying in peace knowing you can view it later

What happens when you go to your Purchases in the app, then tap an item title, and tap the item title again on the resulting screen? Do you see a link to "See original item" or "See full description"?

You are right -- it appears this was changed in the latest update. Most likely the link was left off as an oversight. As recently as a couple of days ago I was still able to get to completed listings through the Purchases, but no longer.
