I purchased a doll at a garage sale but when I got her home I realized that her body has the American girl tag but there is nothing on the back of her head? Is that specific to this particular doll or what has happened?

Hi there 🙂 This really has me stumped! It's approx. 42 inches around. Satin material and two little pearls sewn on at the seam. It doesn't have a diagonal shape like a sash that would go across your body. Have you seen it before? What was it used for?

This is a 6" tall doll head marked YU with 4 numbers on the back of her head. Is this a Marian Yu doll head. It has a hole in the top, is that normal? She came with flowers. She has what looks like blue glass eyes. Any help and information is appreciated.

Hello, can someone please give me insight on how to "brand" or mark an American Girl Doll Body and Head prior to shipping out to a buyer without the marks showing? I just had an unsuccessful transaction wherein the buyer switched the body - but I have no physical proof. The doll came back with heel ink and the bands I used to tighten her limbs are gone. Thanks.
