how many listing views ...

as anyone ever considered this ... on average, how many views of a listing does it take for a sale to result? Obviously the quality of the ACEO is a factor. how many views of a unsold listing during a 7 day listing is sufficient enough to relist the ACEO? When is it time to cut bait? Leonardo

Re how many listing views ...

Leonardo - That's hard to say. I've had pieces that had 100+ views and did not sell on re-list. And I had a piece once that had 5 watchers when it ended. After 3 days it still had 4 watchers so I re-listed it and it didn't sell. I figure I must be really good at writing titles and a really bad artist... julee

Mine almost never sell on relist. I blame the viewing public.

" I figure I must be really good at writing titles and a really bad artist... " Ha Ha Julee, me too! If anyone ever figures out the rhyme or reason for anything on Ebay I sure hope they will let me know. I haven't sold a single painting this week. I don't know how people can afford to list so many paintings that don't sell and still come out with any kind of a profit.

I suspect they don't come out with any profit.

Re how many listing views ...

When I have fewer watchers and no bids.... I think its because the "regular buyers and lookers that seem to follow my art" don't like it. They can see what you have for sale ...by clicking on sellers other items... and if its not too their liking it stops there and goes no further. I usually can tell when something will sell and perhaps get multiple bids by my "watchers". I normally get 1 watcher for every 10 hits. If I have less watchers ... I just kindof know, I'll be lucky to sell it at all. If I have 1 watcher or more out of 10.... It usually always sells and with more than 1 bid. Laura
