Here is a WIP of Point Wolfe Covered Bridge located in Fundy National Park, New Brunswick, Canada is the new bridge built in 1992 to replace the previous bridge that was damaged by a not so controlled blasting of the area cliffs.
**Colored pencils require multiple layers of color to achieve a deep effect**
****I used a Colorless blender between all layers****
Length of time to complete this piece.
2 HRS

STEP 1
1. Create an outline in Graphite.
2. Once satisfied, ink the work with a Micron Permenant Ink Pen (Optional)

STEP 2
1. Add the major shadows under the peak with Indigo Blue.
2. Followed by Crimson Red.
3. Note the front has 2 coats of Crimson Red.
4. Add shading in the window and inside the Covered Bridge with Black.

STEP 3
1. Reapply Crimson Red over the entire Covered Bridge
2. Reapply Black to the inside of the Covered Bridge.

STEP 4
1. Add a light coat of Spring Green to the bushes and large leaf tree in background.
2. Add 30% French Gray to road and underside of Covered Bridge.
3. Add 20% Warm Gray to the roof.
4. Add Deco Blue to the Sky.

STEP 5
1. Reapply a second coat of 30% French Gray to road and underside of Bridge.
2. Add Olive Green to background Trees and bushes.
3. Reapply Deco Blue to Sky and use True Blue on upper part of sky.
3. Reapply extra colors where needed.
