Wooo Hooo! Congrats Jillian :) My fun, good news thing to share is that I'll be at an Art Walk tonight. I've set up a show featuring works from students who have taken my scratchboard classes. Art Walks are always enjoyable - I get to talk about art!! Oh, and of course, I'll have a couple of my scratchboard ACEOs available :) -- -Ann "Now, go away, or I shall taunt you a second time."

Ann, they have Art Walks up here too, and I love them - wish I could be strolling in Auburn :) Ummm...my youngest daughter didn't notice that I accidentally stepped on her Squishy (a monarch caterpillar) and I was able to snatch another from our dogwood tree to replace him (her?)...nor did she hear the profanity uttered when the incident took place... :-D ♥ Elizabeth

Congrats Jillian! I don't have to return to my permanent, full-time job ....... uh EVER! The only downside is I'm old and wrinkly. Good news for me - friends of mine are enjoying getting involved in some new artforms for me. The husband is a retired carpenter and has made gorgeous hardwood boxes I'm painting and he's also cutting some children's wooden puzzles (also painted). The wife is helping me with the construction of some art dolls I'm making - although that image of Phil Spector is now making a determined appearance in the face of my current ghost doll.
