Swiss Cheese

I have a memory like Swiss cheese. A while ago Jillian urged everyone to set up a free website with something like aceos by .... in the title. I remember starting to do just that, but didn't finish updating it. For some reason known only to my one remaining brain cell (which isn't responding) I didn't make a note of the site name or anything relating to it. Does anyone remember? Once I get the site name, I can track down my own page (hopefully)!! Chris

tripod DOT com :):) mine is aceo-mousewords DOT tripod DOT com, but DON'T GO THERE. I just know it's a mess, I haven't updated it in months. I'm getting to it.... (PS, I always say I have a Swiss cheese brain, too!) :);) -- Christine Happy Holidays!

Tip. Buy an little index book, like an address book or such, and write all your sites down that you need codes for. I am able to give myself clues, without physically writing down all details (like if I write 'dog' I know my password is then my dog's name, if I write dog#, I know my password is my dog's name and my 'lucky' number) - and this REALLY helps me get through. Since the book is small I can keep it close to my computer. I've done this for about 12 years, and it works like a charm ... EXCEPT when I don't write them down. Joanna - do another. :) -- ~Jillian artist, Jillian Crider There is nothing like a dream to create the future...

heeheeheee so I'm not the only one! Jillian, I DO have a book, and it works brilliantly, except this time I had written the details on a scrap of paper instead and the resident paper-remover and e mail deleter (my other half) has been in and removed all traces. Off to try the tripod thingy... wish me luck! Chris

No, you are definately not the only one with Swiss Cheese for a brain. I have to carry around a clipboard with my To Do list on it when I leave the house! If I don't have that with me, I end up driving around aimlessly and that gets expensive these days at the gas pump. 🙂

Oh goodness, I can so see from this thread that I am among like-minded. lol, Got the web site-password book next to my key board. And I invest in tons of 10 cent spiral note books (when they go on sale in Oct) for my to do lists and personal notes to help me make it through the day/week. AND this year I gave my husband his very own web site password note book (red leather cover!) and a dozen spiral note books. lol

This thread was fun to read! LOL! I am so glad I'm not the only one!! I have always been one for making lists; immediate and long-range to do lists, grocery lists. I have one for art supplies as I can afford them. I have lists of ideas for ACEOs. When I first registered for ebay my username was yankeepainter. I just looked around once or twice but never made any purchases or tried to sell anything. 3 or 4 years later, I decided to try selling on ebay. I could not remember anything except my username. When I tried to retrieve it I could not remember what email address I used back then. So ebay kept telling me yankeepainter was already taken. Of course I knew it was already taken by me, never to be used again! I like the idea of a small notebook by the computer. I'll have to try that! -- Sandra
