Ornate ACEO/ATC frames: Pricing Help!

I'm wondering if there would be a demand for ornate ACEO frames I have an ACEO in an ornate frame and love it. I have purchased more frames - each one different and I am wondering what price you might be willing to pay. The highest price and the lowest price. Thanks. ~Jillian

These are images of the first one: As with all frames, portions of the actual ACEO are slightly covered at the edges. These were not specifically made for ACEOs - I took a playing card with me when I went to purchase them from a warehouse. The finish is a 'distressed' gold. So flaws are usual, and expected. Shipping would need to be taken into account. Approx $7 in the USA. ~Jillian

Wow Jillian, the first one is just fabulous, I'd prob. pay at least min. $5.00 and Max $10.00 Only because its Ebay, and you can buy some of those frames pretty cheap, not sure how much that one costs, but it looks pricey. So I'd prob. pay max for that one.

Since I am a poor cheapie person right now, I'd pay $5 minimum too But if I had THE perfect ACEO for that frame,...one that I just knew would look fabulous in it, I'd pay $13 (making the total an even $20 with shipping). Jane

It's something I probably wouldn't buy on eBay, but it -is- beautiful!

They look amazing with ACEOs in them. Not the usual type of frame at all. I have access to a wholesale warehouse. I only have about 10 of them, but may keep them. I hope to have a gallery someday in real life, and would look great displayed in these frames. But know how difficult they are to get hold of. They weight over 2 pounds, by the way. (About 1kg).

Seeing them with the right painting in them makes all the difference, maybe selling them with the artwork. I think the example you chose looks great, but then I think maybe I don't have any that would look right in it. You're so lucky to have access to a warehouse full! I had picked up a couple of frames before, when I first decided to collect, and I didn't like how the paintings I had looked in those frames. I think it is so hard to find frames that really work with art cards. 😞

Yes, you're exactly right Kirk. I tried a few of my artworks and they just didn't work, so chose the etching. The right art in it looks so stunning though. I agree I am lucky to have a warehouse to go to, although it's 50 miles one way. I do have some really nice 'regular' frames though. Some I really, really love. I also have some very plain acrylic and metal ones that I must get around to listing sometime, as they are really good. The plastic ones, because they go vertical or horizontal, and the metal ones do, too, but the metal ones you can put 3d ACEOs in them. ~Jillian

The aceos that I frame are matted for a 5 by 7 frame & look very nice. 🙂 I have some little fish in my bath that I love. Most of my aceos are in special display boxes or in albums.

Beautiful frame jillian. A nice highly contrasted white cat would look perfect in it 😉 I was just looking for inexpensive frames online today that would fit an AC without any luck.... :( River

I went to Walmart the other day and I found two silver frames with hearts on them the perfect size in a closeout cart for a $1.00 each. I grabbed them up. Jeni
