Good Morning to all ! I have just recently discovered ATC, well not exactly true, I have been reading a lot about it for awhile... I recently made my first batch AND actually sold one !! I'm so proud of myself:o) My Problem is: curling paper. I'm using CardStock and medium gel however after it tries the paper warps. After the glue dries I tried putting a book on it but it curls when removed.. Any suggestions? Thank you and have a Great Day !

Hi Kathy, I'm working with mainly with paper. I adhere (Paper or Mag) cutouts using gel med. onto cardstock.

Okay, so you're doing collage work? I have NO experience with collages. If Sue finds this thread, she might be able to help you. I think Jillian does collage too.

Use modge podge and or "Yes" both are FABULOUS!
Use an old credit card to spread the paper.
Let me know how that goes.

Oh, I also have a Xyron machine, and LOVE it. The 250 is 2.5" so perfect for ACEOs in width. You just feed in your cut paper, and it comes out the other side all sticky like a sticker.
That is my fav. Even though kinda expensive. But worth it. You can buy on sale often - Michaels have coupon days. I stock pile supplies when on sale.
Definitely a Xyron! Check eBay too, as they have supplies.

modge podge & "yes" are both glues, archival, and especially for collages.
