How long do you wait, to invoice

Many times I have gone ahead and sent a invoice only to have to back up uncombine and recombine for a discount on shipping. Some people want to be invoiced right away, some never say. What do you think?

I invoice immediately, you can always reinvoice if they bid again. :D

If the person hasn't paid, be if 5 minutes or 5 hours, I send an invoice. I rather undo it later, than forget to send one. ~Jillian
