Can't log into Wetcanvas

Hi! I wondered if any of my Wetcanvas friends can pass the word that I can't log into my account (Desert is my username) because I tried to change my e-mail and can't seem to get the activation link. This has happened before. I used to be Desertdarlene there, too, back in about 2002 or so and used my Hotmail account as my e-mail address. Well, I forgot my password and tried to have it sent to me, but it never arrived. I e-mailed Scott and he sent me several e-mails about checking my spam folder. All of his e-mails arrived, but not the activation link. Then, I signed up under my Yahoo account as Desert_Weather in 2003 or 2004, but decided not to use that account because I thought it was a stupid name. So, I became Desert in 2005 using my iWon e-mail address and have kept it ever since. Well, iWon is changing and I don't know if I will be able to get email there anymore, so I tried to use my SBCglobal address, but I am not getting the activation link. I tried e-mail administrators and using the old iWon address instead, but am getting nowhere. I may sign up again under a different name, but I will try to be patient and try to get that account up. Oh, thanks Jillian! I really love Wetcanvas and I don't want to change my username again. I may have to do so. It's a shame that every time I need to change my e-mail, or lose my password, that I have to sign up again. I get all other e-mails except activation links and reset passwords. Well, sometimes I get the activation links as I wouldn't have an account at all if I didn't. -- Darlene I wish I can list my websites here, but I can't.

I haven't been getting my e-mail from wet canvas guess I had better check it out too. Once in a while I have a problem they forget where I am and I have to renew my password etc. Hope you get your problem settled. -- Gerry

Thanks Gerry. I haven't been getting any e-mail at all lately, too, not even notices that people are responding to my discussions. Perhaps someone can send me a PM through Wetcanvas and see if I can get e-mail that way. I never had a problem before. I just got onto wetcanvas -- no problems. I NEVER get any email from them -- I just log on to view their copyright-free reference photos. Jana --

I've never had any problem, either. I even got the first e-mail and all other e-mails except when I have to change my e-mail or when I've lost my password. You have to send in an actvation code. I heard from a couple of people on the site that the site has been going through changes and other things and the e-mail part may not be working right now. Hopefully, it will be a better system than before and thing will run more smoothly. Maybe Artist's magazine taking over is a good thing afterall. -- Darlene I wish I can list my websites here, but I can't.
