The documentation for the Media API mentions a 1-year expiration date for videos. Can someone clarify the actual semantics? In other words, does the actual video disappear after the expiration date, or does this refer only to video-records created with createVideo that haven't had a corresponding successful uploadVideo for the given ID ?

https://developer.ebay.com/api-docs/sell/static/inventory/managing-video-media.html
"This timestamp indicates the expiration date of the video. Videos are currently set to expire one year (365 days) after they are uploaded."
Based on the above video page, if a video has not been received a video ID, then it was not successfully uploaded. Whether or not the video was assigned to a listing does not seem to affect the expiration.
https://developer.ebay.com/api-docs/commerce/media/resources/video/methods/getVideo
"The video’s expiration date is automatically set to 365 days (one year) after the video’s initial creation."
Therefore, I read this to mean there is no video to discuss if upload failed, and that all references are to the successful upload of the video and creation of a video ID.

Hi @memotronics_llc @shipscript
Currently, videos uploaded through the Media API are retained by eBay for 365 days. Starting on April 8th, 2024, the retention time for all new videos uploaded through the Media API will be reduced to 30 days.
This change only applies to new videos being uploaded through the Media API. Existing videos uploaded through the Media API will keep the existing 365-day retention period. No change is needed from your side to continue to use Media APIs.

I read documentations about the video, but I also didn't understand what the [expiration] means.
Especially I concerned if I need to re-upload(or any action) per 30 days for to retain displaying a video on listing items.
