Way to go Southie. Susan, I was taking it twice a day and it just made me really tired. I was put on cymbalta so decreased the lyrica to nighttime. The cymbalta made me even more tired, exhausted really so I quit the cymbalta and now my feet hurt worse so I am going back on a lower dose of cymbalta if the insurance ever approves it.

I'M BACK!!!! Did you miss me? I sure missed you all!! Cheryl...next time, we'll meet! Bev, you DID just say that (about the starts)! It sure sucks that you all haven't received yours. Why don't we write those people and tell them to put them in the mail already? Nice to be home. Becca -- NEVER EVER GIVE UP! Marlene, did you ever check out Metanx for the neuropathy? It really helped and made a BIG difference for me. http://www.metanx.com/ -- ~Patricia

Sue, that's not a problem! I was just wondering if it might have gotten lost, and relieved that it didn't. Sorry your husband is having a hard time with the meds, I hope he gets better soon! --

Re: Round Robin Spoler Thread IV

Thanks, Isa. Marlene -- He said last night he was seeing people he hadn't seen in 20 years, and lots of strange colors. Today it made him so tired he couldn't move. He always has to be doing something; he usually can't sit still. I told him that now he was like the rest of us, and he said he didn't want to be. -- Susan http://stores.ebay.com/Beaks-And-Beacons

Wow Susan, it made me tired but not like that and I didn't see people either. I'd tell the doctor right away. Patricia, I did get Mentanx and took it for one month, I did not notice any difference at all so didn't get it refilled. It is really expensive for a vitamen. I did get a strong B-Complex vitamen to take (with my doctors blessing). How long did it take for you to notice any difference?

Re: Round Robin Spoler Thread IV

Marlene do you take vitamin D? I know it sounds strange but when I started taking it about 5 months ago my blood sugar readings got way better. I've read up on it and it seems that it helps diabetics and especially women, we don't get enough. I haven't had any problems with nerves yest and cross my fingers I don't. I get really bad leg cramps though and nothing seems to work for that. My Mom had a reaction to a med similar to your husbands Susan. She saw people that she knew in the TV, and walking around out side. Her dr took her off that real fast, so I think you ought to call his dr and tell him. -- Reality was once someone's dream.

Re: Round Robin Spoler Thread IV

My advice is call the doctor and tell him what's going on -- Hubby can't function when he's "flying higher than a kite". That is definitely not right. It may be fun for him -- but that is scary. Also, some of those drugs cause suicidal tendencies -- and if he's high, who knows what he could do by accident. Plus I'm sure if he is a typical husband -- it will involve you watching after him, listening to his complaining and hearing all his "trip" dreams. LOL
