Here are your instructions and groups for the Round Robin. Please be mindful that this will only be a success if everyone follows the instructions and completes their part of the RR.

PLEASE CONTACT THE PERSON IMMEDIATELY BELOW YOUR NAME FOR THEIR ADDRESS. IF YOU DO NOT HEAR FROM THAT PERSON IN ONE WEEK AFTER MESSAGING THEM FOR THEIR ADDRESS, CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY. That person will be dropped from the group and you will move on to the next person. If for whatever reason, you think you will not be able to continue in the RR, please contact us now....
**person listed last in the group, sends to the person at the top of the group**

1. Each person in your group will begin a painting or drawing on a 5" x 7" piece of flat paper. Use sturdy paper that will be suitable to several mediums and can take several mailings.
***note: pastels and oils are not suitable for the round robin.

2. Scan your start and post a photo of it on this thread. Sign the back and send to the person who’s name is immediately below yours in your group. Please make sure they are packaged well. Insert a lightweight piece of cardboard for added protection (cereal box cardboard is good)

3. The recipient will continue the piece, scan it, post it here on the spoiler thread. Sign the back and state what they added to the piece. They will then (get the address) send it to the next person immediately below them in the group. And so on until it is sent back to the original artist. **person listed last in the group, sends to the person at the top of the group**

4. Once all groups are finished, there will be a poll at the end and the entire ACEO group will have an opportunity to vote on their favorite round robin artwork. The winning group will have their art pieces featured on the group home page as well as in an album on the facebook subgroup.

It is encouraged that groups complete their projects in a timely manner.

Summary:

1. Start and mail a 5" x 7" piece within one week of start
2. Continue on pieces as they arrive from participants in your group.
3. Scan,  post to the group, sign the back of each piece, mail in a timely manner
4. Post finished piece to our group album.

***by participating you are agreeing that you will allow other artist to alter your work in the completion of your project.  In some cases, your work may even be painted over.  The original artist will own the copyrights to their completed piece.  They may keep it, sell it, or reproduce it...as they see fit.

Sue, OH NO!!!  Don't tell me it happened to us too!  I mailed the turtle the very next day after I received it, since it took so long to get around the horn, I literally turned it around in 24 hours to move it along!. That was over a week ago!!

I just looked back in the posts and it was actually 10 days ago that I shipped it, march 13th.  I can't believe that this happened again during the round robin!  ug!!  I'm just sick.  What the heck is wrong with post office?  😞  i'm so sad, I hope it shows up, because I don't think I took a good enough photo of it to print out pretty.

Sue I have the blue bear and I think I've figured out what to add now, but you were asking about the turtle, right? (shipped on March 13)

Nice additions to all the pieces! I love the finished pieces so far, and the often surprising twists the images show.

I hope the turtle-heron-fish painting makes its way safely to Sue!

Here is my Addition to Debrah's start.  I gave the Kitty Carrying Dragon a Castle like background.

Debrah: I will be sending it out tomorrow (Weather Pending)

I didn't want to go crazy with it.  I hope you can finish it up with your awesome style.  😉

This was fun.  Hopefully I can participate in the next one now that I have a better feel for how it works. 🙂

Candace, it looks great! I'll have fun finishing it up. If I had known from the start that we would end up only having the 3 of us I would have painted the cat in but I thought there were 4, so you leaving it works perfect. 😃

I hope the turtle makes it home  to Sue all right.  He is so beautiful.  But, you know, turtles a notoriously slow.

I am trying to figure out what to do with the zombie picture.  I have not been following the zombie craze, so I may have to do some research.

hahaha well I hope you're right Sue!  Funny about the zombie start, I'm having a hard time figuring out what to add to Blue Bear! well, I think I know now but i wont be able to get to it for a couple of days because I'm finishing an actual decorative painting job.. YAY!

Yes, it is the turtle that is taking so long to get here.  Hopefully it will still show up, it was coming along so nicely and I finally thought of a good idea to add.  All the other pieces are looking great.  This is so fun, and it's almost done, we should do it more often.

I haven't been able to post for awhile on ebay, gt a java script error:( so maybe I have it fixed, who knows. I still have not got any of the other pictures. Christina have you finished and sent them yet? it's been awhile and I didn't know where they were now.

Can someone give me a run down as to where we are?  What groups are finished and what groups aren't?

In our group, three are still unfinished route:

My zombie apocalypse piece is at Sue Thau's I believe.

I still have Sue Taylor's blue bear, almost done. It will ship tomorrow to her.

Barbara's Turtle appears to be lost in transit. It hasn't arrived to Sue after leaving my hands 😞 

I think one is done..Sue Thau's rocker/portrait/snake, right?

Here's Sue Taylor's Blue Bear, which became more and more Blue Bears as it made its way around the robin!   I added the bear underneath the cubs to play with them on Daddy's or Momma's belly...whichever would be more likely to do that!  he he.  It's going in the mail now Sue!

I paid extra for tracking this time to make sure I could follow blue bear all the way home!  I sure hope the turtle shows up with the bears to Sue's house.
