As TRS I will be getting a 12.75 increase in fees. Is that correct?
20% to 10% discount = a 12.5% increase plus the .15% in fees

It's either a 12.75 increase or a kick in the teeth.
Maybe both?
Is the really the way to treat your best customers?

If you're a Store subscriber who sells a $100 item in a TRS-Plus listing in a 9% FVF category:
Currently, you'd pay a $9 fee and get a credit of $1.80, for a net fee of $7.20
New rates, the FVF is $9.15 and a 10% credit would be 92 cents, for a net fee of $8.23
8.23/7.20 = 1.143
So that looks like a 14% increase.

Plus, we can't forget that Ebay gets an increase in fees everytime postage rates go up. This, more than any fee, irritates me because it is something we can't control and it is a fee on money we don't keep. So frustrating.

Well, consider this...
For musical instruments, the fee was 7 %
With a 20 % discount, the net fee was 5.6 % for a power seller
The new fee is 7.15%, and the discount is only 10 %
New net fee is 6.44%
0.84% on top of 5.6% is a FIFTEEN PERCENT INCREASE
Not sure what planet eBay mgmt is on, but I hope they increase the cost of the air they breathe by the same.....oops, can`t pay, too bad!!!
RIDICULOUS
Will give Reverb another shot.....
What`s worse is that Paypal just went up for me from 2.5 to 3.3
So my new net fee combined is 9.74% versus 8.1%
Making the fee increase a whopping 20.2% all at once.......
Basically - i hate eBay even more and will always rate their service with a 3 or less

I posted essentially same comment asking, am I right? hope I'm not. I'm sure ebay knows what they are doing, and they probably know how many sellers will be lost over this, and they think it's worth it. I, for one, will likely sell a lot less, because I will have to pass this increase along to my customers, and therefore, will get less buyers. I'm really disappointed. That is just a gigantic cost increase.

It depends.
Do you have a Store? Or, no?
What category do you sell in with your Store?
Are you TRS? Or, no?
Then you can calculate how much the increase is.
Hopefully you're not Below Standard. Then it's going to get more expensive.

For items schedules at a 9% final value cost your total costs have risen 14.375%
you were paying 7.20 on $100 which is 7.2% (100-9.00 +1.80)
you are now paying 8.235 (100-9.15+.915) on $100 which is 8.235% so
your new total cost for final value fee has increased 14.375% (8.235/7.2)
That is not a small increase and it does not include your store fees for the year

NO
IF you subscribe to a store in most catagories your FVF will go up to 9.15 % instead of 9% about 0.0167% of an increase to the FVF
You shouldn't/can't count the discount/reward for working harder as a fee.
IT is a reward for working harder.
