To qualify for TRS do you have to have "1 day shipping" selected or do you just have to ship in one day? Question is can I under promise and over deliver? Can I select 2 day handling time and still qualify for TRS if I'm still shipping same or next day, with tracking uploaded 99% of the time within 1 business day even though I've selected 2 days?

No outstanding questions,
Just wrong answers from ebay employee.
no wonder buyers and sellers get confused, even ebay employees that answer questions are not clear
And the beat goes on.

And what exadtly does top regular get you? That and a buck fifty will get me coffee at the jiffy mart, I think.
I think Hone is asking what he has to do to get his Top Rated Seller (Top Rated Plus) FVF 20% 10% discount. The correct answer is 1 day handling time. And keep his tracking upload at 95%+.
I can't fault the eBay employees for stumbling over the terminology on eBay. They've re-named and redifined things so many times, no one knows what to call anything here... where a dispute becomes a "request", BP -> MBG, and first class mail moves back and forth between "expedited" and "standard" every now and then for no good reason...

That wasn't @wings-for-victory question. They wanted to know the benefits of being a TRS Seller.
TRS to me is still important, if for no other reason that the discounts on shipping / postage. But along with that you get a boost in searches.

Every time I see that photo on Alan's posts, I wonder if it is a driver's licence photo, a mug shot or from an old time theme park where the guy stands behind a cardbaord cutout of a 1890s suit and the woman is sitting with the big hoop skirt on, wearing the little bonnet. Hmmm, I guess that's off-topic, but I still wonder.

You have to select "0-1 day handle time" when listing your item to meet Top Rated seller requirements. Top Rated seller status is recognized both by sellers identifying that they have quick handle times as well as being able to deliver on these handle times.
You would do better if you read the answers already given since you are incorrect.
I haven't had my coffee yet but ... wow. I can't believe what I just read. Not only does that happen a lot when people call, but right here in black and white. Or is it blue and white. Or just blue.

Good morning Alan and Brian ... and welcome back to the zoo.
This update and forum are confusing enough without "staff" giving blatantly incorrect answers to basic questions 😞
And @wood0405 is not the only one guilty of this. There are other "staff" floating around who don't seem to have a grasp of the issues.

THANKS community! CSS not so much. Still thinking about making some changes. Thinking about going to 2 day handling time to give me some cushion in case, as a volunteer firefighter, I have a run from 11 to 3 that causes me to miss by deadlines... To me the difference between 3-4 days and 4-5 days in minimal. Probably is to my buyers as well. First though I think I'll kick the tires around on the new schedule thing they're introducing see if that can't solve it... Thinking an EARLY cut off time on Friday's and showing that I don't ship on Saturdays might at least get me Saturdays off.

Saturday doesn't count as a business day.

Love it! Maybe it's time for me find a new photo.
