On the surface the $25 sounds like it will take away the sting of the $12/a quarter store price increase. But will it be a "real" $25 coupon or one of those $25 off with $100 purchase of over priced supplies (like Staples and Office Max always offer)? I would think since this is advertising for EBay they would be similar quality that Amazon uses. Hopefully if really $25/free a quarter that has a selection of varied box sizes. I hope this "Ebay-branded shipping supply is more than tape and stickers. I did submit my store for the E-mail updates/notification.

According to the listing, "Airjacket envelopes are a lightweight, durable, moisture resistant twist on a classic bubble mailer. Ideal for items that need a little extra protection in transit such as DVDs, books, jewelry, and CDs.."

How do I get the $25 coupon? I didn't get any message or email for information about it.

Hello -
I successfully found the coupon code to use for ordering the boxes. I used the code and decided to order just one set of smaller boxes at a cost of $14.97 (free with the use of the coupon code). I was very pleased after I ordered and received the email saying that my cost was zero. However, later when I reviewed my PayPal account I found that $14.97 had been deducted for the boxes. Next I reviewed my eBay account transactions but there was not any credit there. I guess I do not fully understand how this will work. Could anyone shed any light on how this is supposed to work. Thanks, much appreciated.

Hi! Just so you are aware, when I saw your post, I sent an email to Griff referencing your experience. I'd like to get this resolved too. Either it's a free coupon, or it's not.
Thanks for the heads-up.

Thanks for your assistance. I did receive a reply directly from the vendor, who instructed me to open the DETAIL of the PayPal payment rather than just reviewing the summary page. The detail indicated that the amount was indeed paid by coupon. Thanks eBay for the free shipping supplies, and also thank you to a very responsive vendor. Hope all the store owners will not hesitate to take advantage of this coupon. Have a great day everyone!

The vendor has probably addressed that same question a hundred times in the past 3 days.

You are welcome and thanks for the response. That is the same instruction that Griff replied to the inquiry I submitted to him. 🙂

Just look at their offerings. Can you spend exactly $25? And for me the it's double-useless, as 90% of my boxes are 4x4x4. They have some 6x4x4 I use, but they are available for a fraction of their price. No, I see it for what it is - ebay stealing $48 a year from me.

This happened to me too. I called ebay and they insisted the coupon went through and it ,ust be a paypal problem. Paypal said the coupon was used and yet my account was charged the full amount.
This is a HUGE scam

AND it just happened to a friend of mine. When the 25 dollars was not removed from the order the extra money came out of her bank account. They SAY the coupon was counted but it is really not.

I have a Premium Store subscription but have not received a coupon yet for these supplies. Do I need to request it or something?

Open your Selling Manager> under the heading Store Design> find Subscriber Discounts with a tiny 'new' beside it. Click there and you see eBay Shipping Supplies - click that and you'll find your coupon code in the upper left. Write it down (peace of mind), then start shopping... enter that code during checkout.
Don't expect your order to = $50, but you can get close - you either pay the diff or lose any unused part of the coupon - so shop well. I got tape, boxes and mailers - and am thus far, overall pleased. Just be advised the box dimensions are given with outside measurements (as written on the box itself) - but I needed inside measurements, so my items are a fraction too big for the intention I had in mind - but they'll do nicely for other items... I am glad for the coupon to offset the store price increase.

Next month ebay fees will cost an additional 200 dollars for all store levels. Dont worry though, they'll give you a 5% off coupon for a new ferarri. Thats a $12,000 value!!
