Did you mean:

Benefits you receive will be worth ??

What exactly do the following refer to:

the value of the benefits that you will receive, excluding the value of new, dedicated customer service, is worth up to $1,495 per quarter.

the value of the benefits that you receive will be worth up to $165 per quarter.

the value of the benefits that you receive will be worth up to $380 per quarter.

Giving numbers with nothing to support them , how they are derived, and where they come from means very little without support for the numbers.

Please clarify.

Thanks

Re: Benefits you receive will be worth ??

This is nothing but a ginormous fee increase in sheep's clothing.

If you don't use all those extra "free" listings, you're paying a heck of a lot more for the same functionality you get now.

Only a small fraction of Stores owners will capture the extra "value", so for everyeone else it is a fee hike out the wazzoo.

I anticipate a large number of sellers downgrading their subscriptions in the not too distant future...

Re: Benefits you receive will be worth ??

Somethings amiss in eBay's arithmetic.

My basic store currently costs me $19.95 a month (monthly subscription rate).

The new fee rate forthcoming is $24.95 (see screenshot below).

That is an increase of $5.00. A quarter is three months, so 3 x $5.00 equals $15.00.

"If you are a Basic Store subscriber on an annual subscription, you will pay an additional $12 per quarter..."

How is it that eBay quotes a quarterly increase of only $12.00 when it is actually $15.00?

Seriously.

Re: Benefits you receive will be worth ??

Sadly, I think I must not understand the words "benefit" and "free"

We for get 50 free listings that we use. Thank you ebay, but, after that....

It's not free if we pay for it.

And I'm still not sure what a benefit is.

My head is beginning to hurt.

I was going to work on listings tonight.

Wait, so am I working for "free"?

Re: Benefits you receive will be worth ??

I was trying to correct my last statement in my post by I ran out of time to make the edit. Just like eBay the community forum is terrible.

I ment to state-

I like how eBay glosses over the fact that the rate increase for monthly subscribers is $15.00 a quarter.

Good think I've begun transistioning to Amazon

Ebay needs to fix the glitchy listing tools, fix the messaging system issues and improve customer support FOR ALL OF US.
