Buyer wants to pay me for shipping through PayPal, though it’s local pickup

Pretty much what the title says, buyer bought item thinking it was shipping, but it was local pickup. Says he will pay the shipping difference. is there any negatives to this? User has almost 1000 feedback. thanks.
