how do you cancel an order that was a no pay, got a case opened, paid, and now wants it cancelled?

ebay shows a case was opened, the buyer paid, then buyer messaged me to cancel. I can't, it says there's a case open. I go to the case and it says it's closed. I cleared my cookies, tried this about 10 times since sunday- any ideas
