eBay selling fees, I feel they're too high, thoughts?

My question is for the Sports card and collectibles peeps and Sellers in general, It's hard enough to turn a profit dealing in sports cards. I feel the fees are way too high. I love this platform, but taking almost 14% plus an ad percentage eats away...
