I received a notice from ebay that a buyer's transaction on an item that he purchased from me has been canceled because of an issue with the buyer's account. I received this email from ebay today. Today is 2/24/2025 and I shipped the item on 2/9/2025...

Buyer received the item that I shipped. The item was damaged. Buyer sent me photos of the damaged item and box. It was shipped usps ground advantage. How do I file a claim. Is it better for the buyer to file? How does this work?

I just sold an item. I had inadvertently left media shipping option on the listing along with usps ground. The buyer apparently selected media. I sent out the invoice with a note that the item cannot ship media. I tried to change the shipping method ...
