I sold an item today and got payment. The shipping address buyer provided is to a shipping company in FL. Also, the name of the eBay account doesn't match the shipping name provided. Am I covered by eBay if this turns out to be some sort of scam?

So how does one open this "money back guarantee" case? There is no such an option. Paypal is telling me I'm covered by them and that they will refund me the money and go after the seller. But should I still open some sort of case on eBay?

Well there it is....the echeck bounced like a rubber ball. Time to give the seller his first Negative and file for a Money Back Guarantee case. All this for $41. What a fool this seller is.
