There have been changes to "note to self" that made it more difficult to use, any one know why?

I sold two items in December for a total of $95.63 and the monthly charge to Ebay was $85.55. This seems excessive to me and at that rate I'm better off giving these items to Goodwill. Can any one explain?Joe
