Get message I have been outbid, go to item and push "raise my bid", it
flashes on bid window for less than 1 sec. and returns to item. Multiple
times with same result. Can keep trying till auction ends, never can
raise my bid.
I have twice reported item #384740616114 as a firearm for sale. It is a
disassembled 22 rifle and apparently both seller and Ebay thinks
disassembly makes it a non-gun.
I recently made a purchase and was nearly outbid. My bid of $33.50 with
a bid limit of $62.00 stood unchanged for about 5 days. Within 5 seconds
of the end of auction another bidder bid $63.00. In the last 3 seconds I
raised my limit to $69.00 and go...

My question is how did other bidder know what my bid limit was? He did
not make any other bids to find my limit, but one bid exactly $1.00
over. I find it hard to believe this was a guess on his part. I think
someone in Ebay may be passing out info.
