Excessive Multiple notifications from app

I bought a couple of items from a seller in Japan. He combined the shipping for me. When he shipped them out I got 26 notifications that my items were shipped.

iOS app overkill on notifications

I had bought 4 items from a seller and got combined shipping. When the seller shipped out the items eBay sent me 60 notifications.
