class of mail was not founded until 1977 by USPS..."Express" refers to
next day shipping according to USPS ...
Pony express was actually the fastest "express mail" system. It was
founded april 1860 and ended 18 months later replaced by the telegraph.
The stagecoach is not is b/c that was slower than pony express. Here is
the history of US Postal system...
