I bought something from a new seller in Hawaii. I'm in PA. The total
dollar amount with shipping was about $7. They took a week to ship it
and it came in an empty small priority box with a sticker on top saying
"Received without content". It had $10....
This has probably been discussed here before, but I've seen auctions
that get way overbid by low feedback bidders who retract their bid at
the last second. They either have multiple accounts or are working with
other bidders, who then win the auction...

feedback bidder once, yet I distinctly remember paying for everything I

OP here. If the goods were truly lost in transit through no fault of the
seller, who eats the cost? Am I entitled to the $7 refund, or does the

Between the cost of the item and what the seller charged me for
shipping, the total I paid was $7. I mentioned it was a new seller, so
they probably underestimated actual shipping, hence the $10.20 that they
paid.
