I think that's the main reason ebay is going downhill. I recently bought
an item listed as new open box. The seller sat on it for 10 days before
shipping and then I got a used nonworking item. You just never know what
you're going to get when you buy...

I retired from ebay at the first of the year too. Slow sales, higher
selling and shipping costs, lower profit margins. Just not worth the
trouble any more for me. Almost never any problem with buyers though.
Oh yes. It's packaged and ready to go out in tomorrow's mail. I think I
may let him slide on the feedback. Paying shipping both ways may be
punishment enough. He already has 2 negs out of 28 feedbacks, so one
more might get him expelled.
