I mistakenly listed an item as "pick up only." A customer wanted the item but couldn't pick it up

I mistakenly listed an item as "pick up only." A customer wanted the item but couldn't pick it up. They sent the amount to ship. I mailed it to them. I realize now that I have no way of getting the purchase price. Do I just have to take it as a loss?
