I purchased an item and I returned it to seller. I was denied refund from eBay, now I can’t leave Feedback!?

I have been a member for 20 years. I have noticed recently that both buyers and sellers are getting more aggressive with comments and feedback. People don’t seem to try anymore to find a solution so both parties gain from the buyer/ seller experience...
