Do not close the case, you won't be able to open another one.
Replacements are not usually a good idea either, because of the time it
takes the case could close automatically before you get the replacement,

Yes it's a scam, do not ship until you see the payment in your paypal
account. Do not click on any links in those emails. Wait for two days
and then you can file an unpaid item dispute in the resolution center.
