How can I find out what an item actually sold for when it is listed under "OR BEST OFFER".

When an item sells on EBAY and the amount is listed in green,, if it also entered as OR BEST OFFER, my understanding is that the amount listed may not be the final price. What is the procedure for finding out the official sale price?
