Can someone tell me why eBay is charging me for commerce insurance when
I purchase an item? This just started with my last 3 purchases and I
never requested any type of insurance.
Another individual here helped me to see that my bank is classifying my
eBay buys as “Commerce Insurance”. But the dollar amounts match exactly
with the amount of each purchase. Problem solved, although I am curious
why my bank has started doing this...

bank statement and they are doing just as you said. My bank classifies
my eBay purchases as Commerce Insurance. Thank you for helping me clear
