bought my item while on vacation, held item now says item is defective and wants refund

only after close to two weeks buyer admits to being on vacation, only after scolding him did he say he wanted refund.

buyer keeps my item on hold at post office while on vacation. (still waiting for ebay to pay me)

i have all of the messages between us, mentioned vacation in last message. ive been waiting almost 2 weeks. will i be paid for my pain and suffering?
