Just closed my vintage jewelry store and am also leaving eBay. The idea
of all these changes, the postal slow downs and the Christmas season all
at the same time made me run screaming from the room. I will not miss
it.
Actually, this promo will probably put me out of business. I list in a
category that regularly gets flooded with one penny sellers. When that
happens, I experience a slump in sales for about 10 days. The number of
new items jumps by about 50 to 100K,...
Do you have any local auctions in your area? It's a great way to get rid
of tons and tons of stuff all at the same time and make a little money.
You can notify all your reseller friends, then they can bid on what they
want at the same time versus pic...
I sell elsewhere and use my left over supplies to make little thank you
cards to include in my shipments. I use nothing but paper scraps for
either tags or cards, stick on an embellishement and either use a rubber
stamp or stickers that say thank you...
