Is this a variation? Or a fake, or just some random pottery house
reprint. Picked it up at goodwill. Looked cool. Keeping it for my PC,
just trying to place it. Was going to repaint it. Should I?
They have similar ones. this one is jut bigger. There is actually 2 on
ebay now but their calling them prospectors. I think they copied each
other. This is very obvious he's a clockmaker. The fading is normal thru
his work. Some have fading like this...
It looks to be a piece of clock. The statue is really faded but there's
color around it and it doesn't look like gold. I saw the 2 prospectors
too. But it didn't mesh with what I was seeing. Kinda like the clock
face
Already did. Took me to the watchmaker that stopped me from repainting.
Then another called royal daughtons. Emailed them, they replied probably
the watchmaker but it isn't theirs. Tried all the easy steps, now I'm
stumped.
