How is it that ebay sellers want to charge more for items than retail stores? Its like going to a flee market and paying more than walmart for an item that was purchased at walmart!

item cancelled after payment made

Bought and paid for an item for a buy now price. Shortly after PayPal paid seller. Received a cancelled notice and refund. Then saw item relisted on eBay at a higher price and seller would not let me bid or purchase item. Is this common on ebay.

I opened an eBay shop and on my first day got 4 sales from four different customers....since then...nothing...not even any extra views....what has happened? It's been over a month now.
