On vacation … can I get an extension on shipping date if buyer is ok with it?

I’m not sure I’ll be able to ship before the midnight deadline on the day my item is supposed to get shipped, and I don’t want it to hurt my credibility just because I’m on vacation. Buyer seems completely fine with it. Any help?!?
