I left some well-earned negative feedback on a seller and I see Ebay has erased it, completely. Is this new? What's the point of feedback if it's a lie?

I have an item not shipped in over 30 days. I have to leave my money tied up with an unresponsive(twice) seller for two months? Unfair. I recall a rule about sellers having a week to ship an item out.
