Yes and No.yes it a private listing but….More so it is a bid the seller
puts on there own listing from a different account to give them
protection. So there product doesn’t sell for less then it should.
It the seller themselves using another account to cover their ass on the
listing with no reserve price. It is total **bleep** but they have been
doing this since the beginning of EBay.
Because it the seller that bid on his own list with another account. It
like a reserve price without a reserve price. it’s total **bleep** but
they do it all the time. You got to figure that is how a 100dollar item
is starting off at .99c.
First of all it’s **bleep**. And should not be allowed.It’s a sort of
work around for a reserve price that the seller puts on a auction style
listing instead of a buy it now listing. so the seller is sure they gets
the amount of money that they wants...
